PUAEME008 - Provide Pain Management course trains individuals to administer analgesics in medically supervised first responder roles. Ideal for emergency services, volunteer organizations, and first aid providers.

Entry Requirements

  • Must meet physical requirements for practical assessments.

  • Internet access required for pre-course study (if applicable).

Assessment Requirements

  • Practical Scenarios: Two pain management cases with paramedic handover (Options: Aspirin, Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Methoxyflurane, or Entonox).

  • Documentation: Maintain a Drug Register log and complete a First Aid Incident Report form.

  • Theory assessment: Multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
