Entry Requirements
Must provide evidence of HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (including CPR) or HLTAID009 Provide CPR.
Must hold one of the following:
UEECD0007 Apply Work Health and Safety Regulations (or unrestricted electrical license).
UETDREL006 Work Safely in the Vicinity of Live Electrical Apparatus.
An ESI or Electrotechnology qualification (or equivalent).
Must be physically fit to perform manual handling tasks, including mock casualty rescues.
Must wear protective footwear and practical clothing for the practical sessions.
Internet access required for pre-course study (if applicable).
Assessment Requirements
✔ Practical Scenarios:
Inspect and place rescue equipment.
Perform a live low voltage panel rescue.
✔ Theory assessment:
Multiple-choice written assessment.
Certification & Renewal
Recommended renewal every 12 months.
