Entry Requirements

  • Must be physically able to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor.

  • Internet access required for pre-course study (if applicable).

Assessment Requirements

  • Practical Scenarios:

    • Perform CPR (single and two-rescuer) with AED and airway adjuncts.

    • Provide oxygen therapy and manage life-threatening bleeding.

    • Treat casualties with anaphylaxis, asthma, choking, fractures, and envenomation.

    • Coordinate a multiple casualty incident.

    • Conduct a workplace risk assessment and service first aid kits.

  • Theory assessment: Multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
